India’s hope is Ayurveda to stop corona, trial is going to start soon

It is learned that the central government is going to use Ayurveda to prevent this deadly virus called Corona. It is believed that the virus can be prevented by Ayurveda, a very old tradition in India.

The trial is set to begin in the next one week at the joint initiative of the Ministry of AYUSH and CISR. On Thursday, Minister of State for AYUSH Shripad Naik said a total of four ayurvedic medicines would be used for this purpose. The drugs selected for the trial are Ashwagandha, Licorice, Guduchi and Pippali, Poly Herbal Formulation or AYUSH 74. The Ministry of Health, Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of AYUSH will be involved in this joint venture. However, the main work of the trial will be done by the Council of Medical Research or CISR. On the other hand, the Indian Council of Medical Research or ICMR will provide technical assistance. In addition, the Inter-Departmental AYUSH Task Force will assist in this trial.

It is learned that the trial will be conducted in the areas where corona is most likely to be infected. The Center has decided to conduct the test on a total of 5 lakh people in 25 states across the country. On the other hand, the European Medicines Agency also showed hope in the ongoing research on the vaccine. “If all goes well, the vaccine will be ready by September,” said Marco Cavalleri, the agency’s head of vaccines. Not only that, they can be used from the beginning of 2021. ”
