So far, the government has been helping research institutes through the Department of Biotechnology. This time the center is allocating money directly from the PM Care Fund. It is learned that this allocation is being made to speed up the development of anti-coronavirus drugs. Also, with the help of migrant workers, the PM Care Fund is being used to buy ventilators.

However, he confirmed that only the companies working using local technology will be helped.

The Department of Biotechnology has already assisted 10 research institutes. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
